Roman Quadriga Coin and Turquoise Ring

Roman Quadriga Coin and Turquoise Ring

(c 337 CE)

An authentic bronze coin depicting Constantine the Great being flown up to heaven in a chariot pulled by four horses (Quadriga) with right hand of God coming down from heaven to receive him. This is significant in that this example is said to represent the first depiction of the Christian God on a Roman coin.

This symbolic coin was paired with a high-grade Hubei turquoise set in a cuff style ring using premium Argentium sterling.  The silver band has a laurel leaf design and can be gently squeezed or widened up to 1 full size, for that perfect fit.

Argentium silver is my favorite sterling because of its bright white color and resistance to tarnishing (due to a lower copper content). Created in the UK, Argentium is considered premium, second only to white gold.
