Russian Orthodox Relic on Blackened Sterling Chain

An authentic Russian Orthodox bronze cross, cast in the traditional four-ended form with flared arms. This finely crafted devotional piece reflects both historical importance and spiritual significance.

Found in Ukraine, such crosses were commonly used in everyday life in the Russian lands during the 1600s, treasured not only as sacred objects but as personal keepsakes meant to accompany their owners through life. The reverse bears a rare inscription, typical of personal devotional objects worn as expressions of early faith and protection.

Hung from a hollow, blackened sterling cable chain, its links are dotted with cubic zirconian briolettes that catch the light like the beads of a rosary. The darkened finish of the chain beautifully sets off the warm bronze tones of the cross, while the large chain remains lightweight and easy to wear. The round carabiner clip holds the cross to the chain and leaves room to add additional charms or sentimental pieces.

The handcrafted hook clasp in the back allows adjustments for that perfect length, whether you wear it layered with other pieces or alone as a quiet statement of history and faith.
